When brainstorming the rebrand and transitioning from Current Graphics to CG Studios, we carefully considered who we are and what we do. In 2018, our social media campaign focused on art history. We had Paul Klee on our minds, and one of his more famous quotes resonated with us:
A line is a dot that went for a walk.
This quote was the inspiration for the CG Studios logo, representing our new direction while also honoring our past. We are on a journey with our clients, and we are with them every step of the way. Also, the quote speaks to our process and aesthetic. Starting with a dot and a line, we can make anything.
We get down to the heart of our clients’ needs and values, unearthing the basic elements that make up their business philosophy. From there, we take a walk.
Paul Klee shifted the course of art in America. His process-based approach to art led to abstract use of simple strokes and symbols. His work continues to convey powerful messages by evoking emotions and thoughts through colors and patterns. We hope to do the same with our clients.
